Background
Leading East Midlands Residential Developer, MyPad required a high-quality, cost-effective, roofing solution that provided a slate-effect finish. The product also needed to support the developer’s sustainable housing standards (at Lake Terrace, in particular, the housing itself was constructed from timber frame).
Solution
Russell Roof Tiles supplied MyPad with Lothian Tiles in Slate Grey for all three developments.
The tiles provided the ideal solution to meet all its needs while ensuring the homes are compliant with current British Standards. Offering a thinner leading edge and using 15 percent less raw materials than a standard concrete roof tile, as well as reduced transportation and quicker installation assisted with MyPad’s sustainable approach.
